Capabilities
Free Point
Free point tools in 11/16", 1", 1-3/8" and 1-7/16" OD. Plenty of people say they can run free point tools — it takes experience to do it properly.
String Shot Back-Off
Regular and undersized tools to back off any size of pipe. This is an art learned over years — trust the professionals.
Chemical Cutting
Chem cutters for almost any pipe, from 1" coil to 8-5/8" OD casing, deployed on wireline, coil or pipe with pressure-activated systems. Our people select the right cutter size for your job.
Jet Cutting
An option where chemical cuts are limited: jet cutting uses a shaped charge to sever the pipe. Also available with a tubing-conveyed, pressure-activated option. Call us and we'll determine the right size and type of cutter for your application.
Split Shots
A specialized shaped charge designed to split a coupling or other component to separate a string of pipe. Give us a call and we'll determine if it's the right option for your situation.
Casing Jacks
Located in Nisku and Estevan, our jacks pull from 2-3/8" tubing to 8-5/8" casing, rated to a max pull of 250 tons. Casing jacks apply force in a controlled manner with less stored energy than conventional pulling methods.
Pipe Swivels & Side Entry Subs
Available in a range of connections and sizes, these tools let you pump down a tool string and rotate the pipe. Our dispatchers will identify when they're needed and send them out with your string so you have what you need to get the job done.
Wireline Fishing
Our line trucks run plug retrieving tools, downhole magnets and a variety of other fishing tools. If it can be done on e-line, we can do it — give us a call.
